Well i must be living under a cave or something. With College foots over, and NFL wrapping up, I thought I'd check in on the AFL. Only to find out the 2009 season has been cancelled! :think2:
To be honest, I really didn't bet AFL much last year, but it satisfied my football craving in the spring, when there was no other football. It was an interesting league to say the least. Betting wise, i broke even on this league, thanks to the under in the ArenaBowl coming through last year.
They say the 2009 season is cancelled, but my gut tells me that's all she wrote and we won't be seeing AFL football any time soon. Can't say I'm terribly surprised, considering the very low turnout to games, and the lack of any real coverage of this league.
